  • Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) proclaims successful finish to Genome-Wide Analysis

Posted on March 23rd, 2009 Editor More Than 14 Days

A thick genome wide examination of volunteers in the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative has been almost finished (95%) and the results would be discussed with global scientists to deduce more inferences, the researchers claimed today. 5 million people in USA alone suffer from Alzheimer’s and the ADNI data is hoped to bring light to the genes which cause Alzheimer’s as it is rechecked by researchers around the world.

ADNI’s first mission would be to find out if Alzheimer’s benign recognition problem could be detected accurately earlier through brain imaging, other biological markers, and clinical and neuropsychological assessment. If the biomarkers are helpful in recognizing it early, the developments would be a breakthrough in analyzing clinical assessments of Alzheimer’s and preparing innovative cures for the disease.

Steven Potkin, M.D who is the director of the Brain Imaging Center of the University of California, Irvine, an institute that is a part of data research commented that the data can be used to analyze the characteristic of Alzheimer’s disease associated with hippocampal atrophy.

The ADNI assemblage has secured all data and they may be accessed by selected investigators on an online database (http://www.loni.ucla.edu/ADNI).

Case studies for ADNI genetics has hired Illumina 610 Quad array with as many as sixty two hundred thousand markers to ensure elaborate enquiry. The professionals involved in research were from an amalgamation of Institutes that read as the Translational Genomics Institute (TGen) of Phoenix, University of California Irvine Brain Imaging Center, the National Cell Repository for Alzheimer’s Disease,  the IU Center for Neuroimaging plus 59 ADNI sites.

Major financial strength has been pillared for this significant genome research work by way of grants by the National Institutes of Health (FNIH), the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, ably supported by monetary contributions from an anonymous-by-choice body, Merck and Co., Inc., Pfizer Inc, and Gene Network Sciences along with further help in-kind from NCRAD and Illumina, manufacturer of the gene arrays. Vanda Pharmaceuticals and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation complete the group of supporters for the analysis.

Alzheimer’s is Not a Genetic Disease, it is a Toxic Poisoning of Metals that are being sprayed all over the World and inhaled by the Innocents. — In the 1980’s, the Military were spraying aluminum particles through the combustion of fuel in Aircraft to make artificial clouds.– When Researchers found aluminum in the brain Tissue of Alzheimer’s patients. — The Military carried out a huge disinformation and Distraction Campaign that conveniently placed the blame on cooking with Aluminum Pots and Pans. — Shortly, there after, the Spraying formula was changed to a Titanium, barium and a smaller quantity of Aluminum compound which is no longer added to the fuel, but instead, is sprayed from the rear edge of the wings.— Also, there seems to be some collaboration between the Military and the Medical/Pharmaceutical Industry, because laboratory made pathogens have been found in Samples taken 24-48 hours after a spraying event, which may very well explain all the recent sickness around the globe.

+AWESOME….. My grandfather and father have been devestated from this disease… I am turning 53 years old and hope and pray there is an answer to this destructive and demoralizing disease. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CARE AND SACRIFICE…. BLESS YPU AND YOUR ENDEAVORS.
